Cabbage Worm

Irregular holes appear on leaves. Green caterpillars may be visible feeding on the foliage.

Butterflies lay eggs on kale leaves, and the larvae feed on the foliage.

Handpick caterpillars, use fine insect netting, or apply Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) when necessary.

Use insect netting and inspect the undersides of leaves regularly for eggs.
